FIRST BURN WITH A WOODEN WICK:
When lighting a wood wick candle, the best technique is to tilt it on an angle and let the flame draw across the length of the wick (kind of like how you tilt a match after lighting). It may also take several tries to get it lit - that's okay! With a new, unburned wick, it needs to draw the wax up through the wick before it will start burning nicely.
Keep in mind - it's not the wood that is fueling your burn - it's actually the wax. Keeping your wick trimmed to 1/8" means that the flame is kept nice and low to the wax allowing it to bring the wax up through the wick. A wick that is too long will not stay lit because it can't effectively reach it's waxy fuel source.
TRIM THE WICK
Trim off any uneven burnt wood from previous use before lighting, this makes it easier to light your wooden wick. Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4” at all times for best practice.
LET THE WAX POOL
When you first light the candle, allow to burn for approx 2 hours. Then, each time you light your candle, let the candle burn until the wax melts across the entire surface area - this will avoid tunnelling.
CHECK THE TIME
Burn your candle for up to a maximum of four hours at a time.
BURN IT SAFELY
Always burn your candle on a stable and heat-resistant surface, avoid drafts, keep away from children and pets, and never leave your candle unattended
STORAGE
Keep your candles in a cool + dry location and avoid sunbeams that can warm and melt the wax unevenly.
KNOW WHEN TO SAY GOODBYE
When only 1/2” of wax remains in your candle jar, it’s time to say goodbye. You can use a butter knife or spoon to remove any remaining wax then wash in hot water. Let dry and repurpose your jar.

This is a great cold-weather candle, that could take you through both fall and winter. The vanilla-amber combination gives a calm, cozy feel, but also slightly romantic.
Vanilla Fireside is so warm and cozy and such a great fall/winter scent. The scent carries throughout the house without being overpowering. I really missed burning candles and am so thankful I was introduced to Wild Capri's line of non-toxic, high quality candles.

I haven’t had a candle in my home in years, as the highly fragranced candles with more chemicals and whatever else is in them would give me headaches - and I learned how bad they can be for you. This is the first non/low tox candle I’ve ever tried and it blew me away. The smell is SO good! It filled the room, but wasn’t overpowering. I didn’t get a headache.. yay. And I’m so happy it’s safer ingredients. I’m only bummed to see Fireside is a limited release - hopefully it comes back! I get that it is more of a fall scent, but personally I love vanilla and amber smells all year. The candle itself is beautiful too, so it’s pretty on your counter or table. Definitely recommend!
The smell is absolutely amazing! Brings all the fall cozy feels. Love the crackling wick too. Wild capri candles are my new favorite non toxic candles.
A great alternative to the BBW fireside candle. I am very sensitive to synthetic/harmful fragrances and this does not bother me at all. The throw is also great!

This candle literally smells like roasting marshmallows over a campfire. It is the perfect balance of vanilla sweet with a bit of woodsy. No headaches with this scent.

Ahhhhh my first time lighting a candle in like 6 years! So excited for these non toxics candles. The scent is soft and lovely. Perfect for the bedroom. I keep this candle on my dresser with the lid off and every time I walk by I get a beautiful whiff of my unlit candle, reminding me to light it.
